I recently visited the newly refurbished Luxury Wiltshire Wedding venue, the Pear Tree at Purton and I was in for such a treat.
Wiltshire wedding venue
This glorious wedding venue based in Wiltshire was originally a 400-year-old vicarage and is set in the most charming chocolate box village. The building has been extended over the years, but it has been restored and refurbished to an incredibly high standard. As the current owners quite rightly say, this is the perfect marriage of something old and something new.
The Pear Tree at Purton have got it right on so many levels. From the moment you walk across the threshold, from the warm hospitality that is extended to you, their attention to detail, the immaculate décor right through to the perfectly manicured lawns. This is, without doubt, the most glorious and luxurious wedding venue in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside. Despite the idyllic setting, the venue is extremely accessible from Bristol, Swindon and London.
Celebrant led wedding ceremonies
This venue is licensed, but it absolutely lends itself beautifully to Celebrant led wedding ceremonies, not only in their stunning ceremony room called ‘Blossom’ but also in their outside ceremony space. The gardens have the most fabulous walkway for the bride to be to make her entrance which then leads to the ‘Garden Pavilion’ where your dream ceremony will take place. This will without doubt create a moment in time that will be remembered by you and your guests for years to come.
Luxury wedding reception
Once your ceremony is conducted your guests will then be able to take in the glorious grounds. With a glass of fizz in hand, they will be able to walk through the Buddleia walk and also take in the venues very own vineyard! The party will very naturally continue into the orangery which is the most recent and very sympathetic addition to this venue. The Orangery can seat up to 150 guests which can then be converted to the most glorious dance floor for the wedding party and festivities to continue. As well as the wedding breakfast space the venue also offers outdoor pizza ovens and a glorious terrace to allow guests to rest their dancing feet!
There are so many beautiful photographic opportunities for your special day at this venue. From the stunning interiors, the bespoke garden staircase, the glorious orangery and their wonderful landscaped gardens.
