With the backdrop of the incredible Parish House, I was very kindly invited to be part of a styled luxury Bath wedding photoshoot a few months ago. Led by the amazing Maria Madison photographer, the day was packed full of the most sumptuous details any bride and groom would want for their very special day.
Luxury Bath Wedding Venue
Parish House Bath is a unique garden wedding venue that is steeped in 18th Century elegance. Set in 22 acres of beautiful gardens and parklands, it is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Aside from the stunning house, the venue has the most incredible views over the Somerset Hills. Aisha, the owner of Parish House is, without doubt, the most hospitable host. She cannot do enough for you and will ensure that your day is just perfect.
The shoot oozed timeless elegance from start to finish. The house complemented the styling and tableware settings created by the brilliant Lynne from Rustic Rentals.
Luxury wedding flowers
Spring Hill Florals dressed and decorated the venue with the most elegant and beautiful floral colour palette of whites and greens. Minimal but stunning and this further enhanced the elegance of the shoot.
Luxury wedding make-up and accessories
Without doubt the stars of the show were the amazing Grace and Jamie provided by Ginger Span Models. They slipped into their roles as bride and groom with effortless and elegant style. Hair and make-up were provided by the award-winning MK Hair and Make-Up. Grace’s make-up was subtle but elegant and her hair styled to showcase the stunning headpiece provided by Abigail Grace Bridal Accessories.
This very dapper pair were dressed to match the classic elegance of the day, with a timeless black tux style suit provided by Suave Owl in Bath, and Grace’s show-stopping dress with the most intricate lace detail provided by Love Spell Design.
Bath Celebrant led ceremonies
I was delighted to be invited to be part of this glorious styled shoot and we were able to recreate a Celebrant-led ceremony making the day even more special and authentic for those involved. Parish House Bath love a Celebrant-led ceremony. It’s so incredibly special – it’s your ceremony, your way. You can have readings, music, bespoke vows, and most importantly your love story included in the ceremony content. It is without doubt a moment in time remembered by you and your guests for years to come.
Maria’s attention to detail is extraordinary, taking over 5,000 shots of the day. She even donned a pair of wellingtons to enter one of the venue’s ponds to ensure she captured the absolute best shot of the stunning wedding cake provided by Posh and Cake.
Uncle Peter the resident white peacock of Parish House also made an appearance and provided some beautiful shots for the shoot.
The day was action-packed, full of fun and laughter and what was incredible was the collaboration and support of all the wedding suppliers on the day. Without doubt this was a dream team and the photographs are proof of what a high-end elegant wedding shoot should provide.
